ARTICLE 2

Article 2: Ikea Store, Coventry, England

Bison Precast concrete has been involved in the development of the IKEA building in Coventry, which will be a seven story complex which stands 35 metres high

Approximately 4600 components, comprising of 42 000 m2 of hollow core components were used in the design

The fixtures and fittings necessary to control and guide the lifts were cast into the walls in the factory, as opposed to being bolted on-site, speeding up the fit-out process.

Article: Arora Hotel, Heathrow, England

Summary:

Bison Precast Concrete has supplied 30 000 m2 of hollow core and precast concrete for the development of this hotel, which will support the Heathrow Airport Terminal 5

The concrete supplied was used in the production of floors, walls and stairs

This luxury hotel is set to become the UK's largest free standing building
